Part-Time Psychotherapist/ Psychologist/ Social Worker Specializing in Treatment of OCD and Related Disorders

 

Position Description:

Turning Point Psychological Services is currently seeking a dedicated, personable, integrity-driven Psychotherapist to join our growing practice.

This is an independent contractor position that allows for building your own caseload to work toward part-time or full-time hours.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of CBT case conceptualization, model, and protocol for treatment OCD and OCD-related disorders.
  • Ability to work with adults, children, and teens.
  • Master’s Degree in a related field.
  • Candidates should be registered or eligible to register with the CRPO, CPO, or OCSWSSW.
  • Therapists that currently have their own office will be given a priority.

We offer supportive work environment, ongoing clinical supervision by a psychologist,
online booking, and flexibility with respect to working days and hours.

Registered Social Worker / Registered Psychotherapist in Mississauga, Ontario

Position Description

Turning Point Psychological Services is currently looking for full time and part time social workers and psychotherapists to join our rehabilitation team. We provide psychological assessments and treatment for patients that were involved in motor vehicle collisions.

This position is for our Mississauga location. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Pre-screening of MVA patients
  • Complete psychological assessments and reports under direct supervision of a psychologist
  • Treating patients suffering from anxiety disorders, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Phobias, and Adjustment Disorder

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or similar field
  • Registered member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
  • Proven experience writing MVA assessment reports
  • Proven training and experience in CBT
  • 1+ years of experience working in the MVA field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
